What Sets Our Hunts Apart

Everything you need for a world-class waterfowl hunt.

A true mixed bag

Mallards headline our Nebraska duck hunts, with pintails, wigeon, gadwall, and green-winged teal in the mix, plus Canada geese all season and light geese (snows and blues) as the migration stacks up.

Prime Platte River location

The Platte is one of the great waterfowl rivers in North America. Warm-water channels, sandbars, and surrounding grain fields keep fresh birds cycling through central Nebraska all season long.

Comfortable, effective setups

Hunt from heated A-frame and pit blinds over large, realistic decoy spreads, on the river and sloughs or over cut corn, with finished retrievers doing the work in between.

Low-pressure private ground

Our 30,000+ acres are private and lightly pressured, so the birds stay comfortable and the hunting stays consistent day after day across the season.

Built for peak migration

The season runs November through January. Early season leans on local birds and Canada geese, the middle brings the heaviest duck migration, and late season means outstanding mallard and snow-goose action. See our Nebraska duck season guide for the 2026-2027 dates.

Fully guided, all-inclusive

Benelli Super Black Eagle 3 shotguns, unlimited MIGRA ammunition, bird processing, gourmet meals, luxury lodging, and round-trip Kearney airport shuttle are all included.

Waterfowl FAQs

Common questions about Nebraska duck & goose hunts.

When is the best time to duck hunt in Nebraska?

The season runs November through January. The heaviest duck migration typically moves through the middle of the season, while late season can offer excellent mallard and snow-goose hunting as cold fronts push birds down the Central Flyway. Peak dates book early.

What species will we hunt?

Primarily mallards, pintails, wigeon, gadwall, and teal among the ducks, plus Canada geese and light geese (snows and blues). The exact mix depends on timing, weather, and the migration.

Do I need to bring my own shotgun and ammunition?

No. Benelli Super Black Eagle 3 12-gauge rentals and unlimited MIGRA waterfowl ammunition are included, along with blinds, decoys, and retrievers. You are welcome to bring your own gun if you prefer.

What airport should we fly into?

Kearney Regional Airport (EAR) is closest, and round-trip shuttle service to the lodge is included. Many guests also fly into Grand Island or Omaha and drive in.

Is the hunt private to our group?

Yes. We never combine parties and host only a limited number of groups at a time, so your blinds, guides, and lodge experience are yours alone.
